    Doctor accused of spiking pregnant girlfriend's drink with abortion pill

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. - A doctor is accused of spiking his girlfriend's drink with an abortion pill.  Brooke Fiske told News 8 WROC in Rochester that she and Sikander Imran had been dating on and off for three years when she learned she was pregnant.  Fiske says he didn't want to have the baby so Imran tried talking her into having an abortion, but it wasn't something she wanted.  According to WROC, Imran had recently moved from New York to

    SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho - The Shoshone County Sheriff's Office and Idaho State Police are actively searching for a missing Spokane woman north of Kingston near Coeur d'Alene River Road.  Undersheriff Holly Lindsey tells us that this all started Wednesday night when three girls, two of them teenagers and one in her 20's, went north to watch the meteor shower.

    • Kootenai County man sentenced for insurance fraud

      BOISE, Idaho - Attorney General Lawrence Wasden has announced the sentencing of an Idahoan convicted of Insurance Fraud. On Thursday, December 14, First District Judge John Luster sentenced 60-year-old Pat W. Benson of Coeur d’Alene. A jury convicted Benson on October 19. Judge Luster sentenced Benson to a unified term of three years, with one year fixed and two years indeterminate. The sentence was suspended and Benson was placed on two years probation. 

    • Bonner County Deputies cleared in officer involved shooting

      COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Bonner County Deputies Michael Gagnon, Justin Penn and William Craffey have been cleared in the January 16th, 2017 shooting of 31 year old, Adam D. Foster near Blanchard, ID. An investigation into the incident was submitted by the Multi-Jurisdictional, North Idaho Critical Incident Task Force for review. The review of the actions taken by the Bonner County Deputies was referred to the Office of the Kootenai

      SPOKANE, Wash. - The city of Spokane is initiating a full city plow, which means the plow crews will work 24 hours a day until all the streets are cleared.  Officials say it could take approximately three days to complete.

      GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) - A Montana man who was shot by police officers had reportedly been hallucinating and was later spotted hiding in the bushes with a gun. The Great Falls Tribune reports 51-year-old Stacey Micheletti's ex-wife called police around 5 a.m. Monday to report he'd been at her house and said he could see another man there. At about 5:30 a.m. Great Falls police officers located Micheletti. He denied needing assistance, said he was not suicidal and was heading home.

      CALDWELL, Idaho  (AP) - Police say a western Idaho teenager who has been missing for more than a year has been found safe. Caldwell Police Lt. Alan Seevers told the Idaho Press-Tribune that 17-year-old Amber Thompson turned herself in to Las Vegas authorities on Wednesday. Thompson was reported missing in September 2016.
