    OMAK, Wash. - I can picture the Austin Powers bit now.  The people of Omak looking up at the sky and seeing a giant (Fill in the blank innuendo here) just like in 1999's Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. If you're unfamiliar, I'll save you a Google search.  A simple, yet effectively funny joke.  Except the U.S. Navy doesn't see humor in the real-life version at all.

    SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives have made a third arrest in the homicide investigation of Bret Snow.  37-year-old Cheryl L. Sutton was arrested on charges of Leading Organized Crime and Criminal Conspiracy to Commit 1st Degree Murder and 1st Degree Kidnapping in connection to Snow's disappearance.

    DENVER - Two doctors from Colorado claim that their patient, a baby boy, died of an overdose on marijuana. The case in question happened in 2015 the second year of recreational marijuana sales in Colorado. An 11-month-old boy came into the ER after a seizure, barely conscious.

(AP) - Law enforcement officials in Montana have released a trove of materials from their investigation into a Republican House candidate who assaulted a reporter on the eve of his election to the U.S. House.    More than 100 pages of documents, photos and audio from the investigation into Rep.       SPOKANE, Wash. - A 6-month-old child is in protective custody and a suspect has been detained as Spokane Police investigate a kidnapping early Friday morning.  Police said in a press released they made contact with a man outside of the Public Safety Building early Friday morning just before 2:30 a.m. The man had two children who were not related to him, but had been left in his custody. 

    • Man charged with murder, arson after body found inside house fire in Okanogan County

      OMAK, Wash. - A man in Okanogan County is facing arson and murder charges after emergency responders found a body inside a home that had been set on fire. Officials say 27-year-old Jared Nathaniel Fudge now faces first degree murder and arson charges, with more charges possible. A witness spotted Fudge running from the scene. He was later located and questioned by police. Officials say they found the body after they were called

      KENNEWICK, Wash. (AP) - Washington Potato Co. has agreed to pay a $100,000 civil penalty to settle a discrimination claim involving Freeze Pack, its Pasco vegetable processing plant.
