SOAP LAKE, Wash. - A Coulee City woman died Sunday night after an SUV hit the motorcycle she was riding. Washington State Patrol said it happened 13 miles north of Soap Lake on State Route 17, just after 9 p.m.
State troopers say 31-year-old Ronald D. Zigan was intoxicated and heading south in a 2002 Dodge Durango. Zigan reportedly crossed the center line and hit 51-year-old Mildred Kreider. Kreider was riding a 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle. WSP said she died at the scene.
Zigan totaled his SUV but was not injured. Grant County authorities have charged him with vehicular homicide and DUI.Comments Terms of Use: We welcome your participation in our community.
