SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - A soon-to-be groom and two of his friends were expected to make their first appearances in court Monday, after a bachelor party turned into an all-out brawl on Sunday.
Spokane Valley Police say they received multiple calls just before 1 a.m. Sunday, saying that a man was jumping up and down on the hood of a car outside Goodtymes Pub on E. Mission. When Officer Brian Frost arrived, he said he found 25 or more people fighting in the parking lot. Police tried to separate the groom and his two friends, but the men started pushing the officer.
Officer Frost called for backup, and more than 25 officers and deputies from Spokane Valley Police, Spokane Police, Washington State Patrol and the Spokane County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.
After authorities broke up the fight, they arrested the honored bachelor, 27-year-old Brandon N. Peterson, as well as 22-year-old Shad E. Armstrong and 24-year-old Kershawn Grigsby. All three are charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer, among other charges.Comments Terms of Use: We welcome your participation in our community.
