SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Chiefs will be without veterans Jared Cowen and Levko Koper on Wednesday when they play at Everett.  The pair are playing for Team WHL against Russia in the Subway Super Series in Victoria, B.C.

Wednesday's game on the west side of the state is an important one for the Chiefs.  With a total of 29 points, Spokane and Everett are tied for third place in the U.S. division.  The winner gets a leg up in the standings.

The Chiefs and Silvertips will face off in their second of 10 meetings on the schedule this season – five at each location.  Everett beat the Chiefs 5-2 on Nov. 10 in Spokane by outshooting them 36-27.  The Silvertips won't visit Spokane again until Feb. 3.

After Wednesday's game in Everett, Spokane travels to the Tri-Cities to take on the Americans on Friday.  It will be the fourth out of 12 meetings on the season.  The Ams won the last two games, including a 4-3 win in October at Spokane Arena.
