And now it's time for something completely different.
The Eagles welcome Charles Garcia and the Seattle University Redhawks to Cheney Saturday night – a game seen live on SWX-TV. Garcia, at 6'10", is averaging a double-double so far this season and will require some added attention from Eagle defenders.

Through games of Nov. 30, the power forward originally from Los Angeles was ranked fourth in scoring among Division I schools, averaging 26.6 points per game. He also averages 10.4 rebounds per game and has made more than 50 percent of his shots from the field.
The Eagles are coming off a 98-75 loss to Portland State in the conference opener for both teams. The Vikings made a school-record 69 percent of their shots in that game, and EWU allowed its most points since falling to Northern Arizona 109-101 during the 2006-07 season.
Seattle and Eastern Washington met last season, with the Redhawks winning 63-59 in overtime. It was the first meeting between the two schools in 23 years. They will play again this season on Feb. 1 at Key Arena in Seattle.
