REXBURG, Idaho (AP) - A group of about 15 residents in eastern Idaho says the Madison School Board of Trustees has violated the state's open meeting law.
The group is angered about the board's actions regarding the demolition of the Union-Lyman School Building.
The group says the board's deliberations and decisions about the possible sale and demolition of the school were not discussed in open meetings.
Madison Superintendent Geoffrey Thomas tells the Standard Journal that the board discussed decisions about the school in public and he's confident the board didn't violate the law.
