
COEUR D'ALENE, ID -- First-time champions dominated the 2010 Ford Ironman Coeur d'Alene on Sunday. Billings resident Linsey Corbin caught first-year pro Meredith Kessler in the marathon leg of the Ironman, crossing the finish line at 9:17:54 to establish a new course record and the women's division.
Fellow American Andy Potts made his highly-anticipated Ironman debut outisde of Hawaii. Potts trailed John Flanagan coming out of the water by 30 seconds, but picked up all but 3 of those seconds by the team they hit the bike course. Potts would cruise from there, picking up the win with a time of 8:24:40.
