Idaho Inmate Walks Away from Custody

BOISE, Idaho - A convicted criminal walked away from a work center in Idaho Falls.  Joe Dee Stang is now on the run and officials are looking for him. The escape happened on Saturday, July 3rd at 9:30 p.m.. 

Stang is described as a white male, 5' 11", 220 pounds with brown eyes and light brown hair.  He was serving concurrent sentences for burglary and malicious injury to property in Bonneville, Bannock and Bingham counties. 

Stang was eligible to be considered for parole on September 7, 2012.

Anyone with information about Stang's whereabouts should call their local law enforcement agency.
