SPD ALERT: Suspect On The Loose After Assaulting 9-Year-Old Boy; Detectives Need Your Help

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE: On Friday, November 5, 2010, 9-year-old boy was walking home in the area of 6900 North Crestline when he was assaulted by a man in a gold car. According to the boy's statement, a man driving an "older, gold colored car" drove up next to him and stopped. The man got out of the car, pushed him, demanded money, got back into the car and drove away.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6'00", medium build, 40-50 years old, gray hair, no teeth, wearing a black sweater and black hat. The victim said a white male passenger had been in the car at the time of the assault.

The child was not injured and there was no money taken during the assault. Detectives are asking anyone with any information about the incident to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
