  • Police searching for suspect after South Hill home is burglarized

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are searching for a burglary suspect after a home in the 1300 block of W. 20th was broken into around noon Friday. Police were notified about the break-in by an alarm company. When police arrived on scene, they found the back door to the house had been kicked-in and an alarm panel inside the house had been ripped off the wall. Officers say there were three rifles stacked near the door and believe the suspect was planning on taking the firearms.

    Messages of hope disappear, reappear on Monroe Street Bridge

    SPOKANE, Wash. - A row of hopeful messages pinned to the railing on the Monroe Street Bridge disappeared overnight. The City of Spokane says they did not remove the notes, which were put on display by an anonymous person. However, more than 30 new sings, aimed at suicide prevention reappeared Thursday morning. The woman who pinned them isn’t choosing to be anonymous.

They're here all the time and are regulars of the Caddyshack," Johnny French, general manager, said. The World Series for little league baseball is here.
