Dylan comes to Spokane after working at WDAY TV in Fargo, North Dakota. A Minnesota native, his interest in journalism came at a young age. His family has worked in TV and radio nearly their entire lives, so it was only natural to take on being a journalist.
Dylan has covered many types of stories in his three years of reporting, but he says the ones that had the biggest impact are the 2011 summer floods in Minot North Dakota. Over the course of a week, he reported from the ground as five thousand people lost their homes. He says, “You really felt like you were doing something important, getting the information out there and telling stories of the lives that were deeply affected.”
Dylan graduated from The University Of North Dakota and follows his Fighting Sioux still out in Spokane. He anchored, produced and reported at Studio One, the award winning university run news program. When he’s not working, he enjoys the outdoors, being on the lakes or trying to learn how to cook, which he says he still needs a lot of work!
