Grant County health officials: Flu season has ended
GRANT COUNTY, Wash. (AP) - According to Grant County health officials, the 2014-2015 influenza season is over. Flu activity in the state and numbers of reported cases in Grant County have dropped to pre-flu season numbers says Grant County Health Officer Dr. Alexander Brzezny.
Influenza hospitalizations and deaths on the rise
SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - The Spokane Regional Health District says there have been six confirmed influenza deaths in Spokane County this season, including three just this month.More people are also going to the hospital with the flu this year than last year. So far, there have been 215 influenza hospitalizations in Spokane County, compared to 156 during the same period last year.
