Q6 Hometown Harvest Food Drive

December 2nd, 2016

5:00 am to 6:30 pm

It's that time of year again where the community comes together to help fill the shelves at the local food banks. On the 2nd of December you can bring your non-perishable items to participating Safeway/Albertsons stores in Spokane and to the participating Albertsons in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Please donate any of the following items:
  • Baby food
  • Infant formula
  • Canned soup
  • Canned stews
  • Canned fruit
  • Canned meats
  • Canned vegetables
  • Brown rice
  • Cereal
  • Chili
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Pasta
  • Peanut butter
  • Pork and beans


Northwest Harvest are looking for volunteers to help with the food drive locations. Please contact Katie Huckabee at 509-891-7276.

Safeway at 2507 W. Wellesley Ave. 7:00am - 9:00am: 3 volunteers needed
9:00am – 11:00am: 4 volunteers needed
11:00am – 1:00pm: 4 volunteers needed
3:00pm – 5:00pm: 6 volunteers needed
5:00pm – 7:00pm: 4 volunteers needed

Safeway at 14020 E. Sprague Ave. 7:00am – 9:00am: 5 volunteers needed
9:00am – 11:00am: 4 volunteers needed
11:00am – 1:00pm: 4 volunteers needed
3:00pm – 5:00pm: 4 volunteers needed
5:00pm – 7:00pm: 5 volunteers needed

Albertson’s at 6520 N. Nevada 5:00am – 7:00am: 3 volunteers needed
7:00am – 9:00am: 4 volunteers needed
9:00am – 11:00am: 5 volunteers needed
11:00am – 1:00pm: 4 volunteers needed
1:00pm – 3:00pm: 6 volunteers needed
3:00pm – 5:00pm: 5 volunteers needed
5:00pm – 7:00pm: 6 volunteers needed
