    COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - As you may have heard, Coeur d'Alene Little League is kind of a big deal. They made history over weekend by becoming the first Little League team from North Idaho to make it to the Little League World Series, and they're playing their fist game in Williamsport on Friday. Ahead of their big game against the Great Lake Regional champions from Michigan, Coeur d'Alene Mayor Steve Widmyer has declared August 17 Coeur d'Alene Little League Day.

    NEZ PERCE COUNTY, Idaho - The Quad Cities Drug Task Force conducted a narcotics investigation which resulted in one arrest and the seizure of 1.5 lbs of heroin, 2.1 lbs of methamphetamine, six semiautomatic rifles, two shotguns, eights handguns and two bulletproof vests. All of the recovered weapons were loaded.

    LUTHER, Okla. - Investigators say a student has been airlifted to a hospital after a stabbing at a central Oklahoma high school. Oklahoma County sheriff's spokesman Mark Opgrande says deputies were called to Luther High School in the small town of Luther following the reported stabbing Thursday morning.
