    CUSICK, Wash. - The Washington State Patrol says three people were killed in a car crash north of Cusick Wednesday morning.  Trooper Jeff Sevigney tweeted out that the crash happened near the intersection of Leclerc Rd and Cee Cee Ah Creek Rd. Trooper Sevigney said the crash involved one car with five occupants.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - We all know what an outdoor paradise Spokane is, but word is getting out as the Lilac City was just named the #1 "Most Affordable Outdoorsy" City in the nation, according to Realtor.com.  The website said there was a bit of an uproar when they released the list last year because towns like Boulder, Colorado, Salt Lake City and Honolulu were left off. Well, yeah.

    US productivity grew at strong 2.9 percent rate in Q2

    WASHINGTON - U.S. productivity grew at an annual rate of 2.9 percent in the second quarter, the fastest pace in more than three years, while labor costs actually fell. The Labor Department said Wednesday that the April-June increase in productivity followed a much weaker 0.3 percent rate of gain in the first quarter. It was the strongest advance since a 3.1 percent gain in the first quarter of 2015.
