    DES MOINES, Iowa - Race drivers and others have been answering the call from an 11-year-old Iowa boy who wants racing stickers to cover his casket after he dies from leukemia. Caleb Hammond's uncle, Chris Playle, told The Des Moines Register that his family brought him home to Oskaloosa, about 55 miles southeast of Des Moines, after determining the painful treatments he'd been undergoing at a Des Moines hospital weren't working and other options offered little hope.

    ORLANDO, Fla. - A federal appeals court is giving a green light for visitors with autism to proceed with lawsuits against Disney theme parks that claimed not enough was being done to accommodate them. The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals last week ruled that plaintiffs in 30 lawsuits could proceed in a lower court with their lawsuits alleging violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

    SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash.- The Spokane Valley Fire Department says one person died as a result of a fire at the Central Park Condominiums Sunday night. "SVFD investigators say it will likely take several days to complete the investigation into the cause of the fire that was reported shortly after 8:30 pm on August 19," Melanie Rose from the Spokane Valley Fire Department said.
