    NAMPA, Idaho (AP) - The Idaho Republican Party has removed social media posts that added a mocking laugh track aimed at a Democratic candidate.    The Idaho Press-Tribune reports the party on Monday removed a post from its Twitter and Instagram accounts that contained a copyrighted clip from Idaho Public Television's "Idaho Debates," augmented with a mocking laugh track pointed at Democratic gubernatorial candidate Paulette Jordan.

    SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - The Spokane City Council has approved an ordinance restricting the U.S. Border Patrol's ability to search city property that is not open to the public.    The new law would require the Border Patrol to obtain written permission from the mayor before searching the Spokane Intermodal Center and other city property where people are required to purchase a ticket or obtain permission to enter.
