SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Spokane Valley property crimes detectives are seeking the public's help in identifying a prolific car thief who has been particularly active of late.
On Thursday, June 25th, police say the man stole three vehicles, the first a blue 1990 Toyota Camry from an Avista parking lot at 1411 E. Mission. He dumped that car at 200 S. Evergreen Road in Spokane Valley and stole a 1997 Subaru Legacy station wagon from a nearby nursing home parking lot.
Detectives got a break when the suspect went to the east side of the Rosauers Store at 10600 E. Sprague. Security video shows him dumping the stolen Legacy station wagon and stealing a 1997 Subaru Outback station wagon parked there.
On June 24th, detectives believe the same suspect stole a 1990 Nissan Stanza from a home at 1300 W. Augusta in Spokane. He dumped it in the 900 block of North Bessie in Spokane Valley and stole a 1990 Nissan Pathfinder from a nearby residence.
The Pathfinder has not yet been recovered.
