COEUR D' ALENE, Wash. - A 29-year-old Lewiston man was scheduled to make a first appearance in court on Thursday after being arrested in connection to an armed robbery at a Shopko pharmacy in Coeur d'Alene.
Police accused Jason Anthony Wahl of walking into the pharmacy on West Ironwood Dr. Wednesday night and trying to rob the store with a handgun. A pharmacist tackled Wahl and held him until police arrived to take him away.
Wahl reportedly had a seizure in the patrol car after being arrested. He was taken to Kootenai Medical Center to be treated.
Police detained a second man in connection with the attempted robbery, but they didn't say to what extent he may have been involved. Officers also brought in a dog to help them search for a possible third suspect.
