KHQ Right Now - News and Weather for Spokane and North Idaho | Coffee stand robbed in north Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash.- Right now Spokane Police Officers are on the scene of a robbery at 2135 West Northwest Boulevard. According to police, the coffee shop Jitterz Java was robbed early Tuesday morning.
Police say the suspect displayed a weapon, likely a gun, and demanded money from the barista. The barista did hand the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the susepct took off on foot.
Right now there is no description of the suspect, but the espresso stand's owner says they do have surveillance cameras. The owner says the next step is download the surveillance video to give to police with the hope of getting a suspect description.
