BOISE, Idaho - A man who killed his estranged wife and then cut off her head, and then killed two other people by swerving into oncoming traffic, has been sentenced to 45 years in prison.
Alofa Time was sentenced yesterday in 4th District Court by Judge Deborah Bail for the traffic deaths. He pleaded guilty in January to one count of aggravated driving under the influence and two counts of vehicular manslaughter.
In December, Time pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the beheading death of Theresa Time. Under that plea agreement, he is to be sentenced to life in prison without parole. Formal sentencing is set for Monday in 3rd District Court.
