T.G.I.F. Weather Update: Showers & T-Storms Continue to Pepper the Region
Flash Flood Watch until Friday night for the wildfire burn-scarred slopes in the east slopes of the Cascades that may receive heavy rainfall & produce fast runoff
Evening/Overnight: Some showery activity pinwheels into the area this evening, but it should decrease as the night progresses & remain mostly cloudy. Idaho gets the brunt of the Thunderstorms as they continue to stream through the length of the state.
Saturday: It's tamer by Saturday as most of the wet weather moves into Montana. The metro area will remain a bit cloudy, breezy & cool… Low/High 55°/76°
Sunday: A mostly cloudy day with afternoon showers & a few thunderstorms developing in the neighboring counties of Northern WA through the Idaho Panhandle…Low/High 53°/80°
FYI: So far, it's the slowest Atlantic hurricane season since 2000, but my "crystal ball" depicts what might be "Hurricane Christobal" making landfall onto the SE U.S. coastline by the middle of next week.
