Missing hunters found alive

LATAH COUNTY, Idaho - A couple of hunters who went missing Saturday after an ATV hunting trip have been found alive. Duane W. Correll and Brenda K. Packard were hunting at the Spring Creek Valley Reservoir, east of Troy, Idaho when they went missing.

Their missing ATV was located by an Air Force helicopter around 10:23 a.m. Sunday, and the two hunters were found about 10 minutes later.

The two subjects were taken to Gritman Hospital in Moscow, Idaho where they were treated and released.

Members of the Latah County Sheriff's Office, alont with Latah County Mounted Sheriff's Posse, Latah County Vehicle Posse, Palouse/Clearwater Search and Rescue, North idaho trackers, Troy EMS, Kootenai County SAR and the 36th Rescue Flight from Fairchild Air Force Base resonded in the efforts which involved around 60 volunteers.

Crews had been searching for the pair since midnight.
