
BONNERS COUNTY, Idaho - Authorities serving a search warrant at a North Idaho home Friday found a marijuana grow operation worth $50,000 and accesible only by a hidden elevator.
Bonner County Sheriff deputies along with members of the DEA served the search warrant at 1794 Blue Lake Road. At the house they discovered a "sophisticated covert elevator" disguised as a shop drain.
They found 45 growing marijuana plants in the hidden grow room, worth an estimated $50,000 in street value. They also seized more than 6 pounds of packaged marijuana with an estimated street value of more than $20,000.
The homeowners, Carl and Marte Cliff were arrested and charged with Manufacturing Marijuana and Trafficking Marijuana.
