    A Florida mother blames the death of her 15-year-old daughter on what she calls confusing packaging for Reese's Chips Ahoy cookies.    Kelli Travers-Stafford says her daughter Alexi mistakenly ate one of the cookies at a friend's house despite her peanut allergy, because the top of the familiar red packaging was peeled back, hiding the Reese's label.

According to court documents, several men contacted authorities about the parlor, Space Oil Massage, and told them that the women who worked there asked them in private to call 911 because they were being forced to perform sex acts against their will.

(AP) - Police say a man who was assaulting a woman in Yakima is dead after he was struck with a baton or baseball bat as witnesses intervened.    Authorities say the fight happened late Sunday night outside the Connections Transitional Apartments. Officers arrived to find a 57-year-old man who lived at the complex sitting outside with a head injury. He died at a hospital.

    MGM Resorts International has sued hundreds of victims of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history in a bid to avoid liability for the gunfire that rained down from its Mandalay Bay casino-resort in Las Vegas.    The company argues in lawsuits filed Friday in Nevada and California that it has "no liability of any kind" to survivors or families of slain victims under a federal law enacted after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

    MENASHA, Wis. - The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has released some jaw-dropping video showing a bicyclist who fell through a gap of a drawbridge as it was being raised to let a boat through.  The incident happened on July 4 after a fireworks show in Menasha, Wisconsin. The video shows the warning gates closed with lights flashing on the Racine Street Bridge as a woman on a bicycle rode past the gates and then fell through the gap.

Though not officially identified, friends and family have identified the other two victims as JC Austen Lee and Diego Senn. The plane went down about 7 miles west of the Deer Park airport last Friday.

She says search warrants also were served Tuesday at 30 locations which netted 18 firearms, 10 pounds of heroin, 20 pounds of meth and over $500,000 in cash.

    A woman is accused of biting off and swallowing part of another woman's nose after being asked to leave the victim's home in Southeast Texas.    Station KTRK-TV reports that 41-year-old Jessica Collins of Conroe, Texas, has been arrested and charged with assault-bodily injury in the July 11 attack.    The victim says she went out drinking with her neighbor and Collins then all three returned to her home. Collins demanded more cigarettes and alcohol.

    A fisherman in Corpus Christi, Texas caught a very large shark, he says with the intentions of returning it to the ocean. However, it didn't work out as planned.  The giant hammerhead shark began dying before the catch and release effort was complete.  The fisherman, reeled in the 14-foot shark, measure it, and took photos.  The photos he posted on social media sparked controversy.  He says the sharks health began to fail when he tried to release it.
