    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police Collision investigators have teamed up with Major Crimes  in an attempt to piece together the last moment's of Suzette Werner's life. Werner was last seen leaving Casey's Lounge on February 8 around 1:30 a.m.  Witnesses say Werner was seen leaving the bar with two white males, but no one interviewed knew who the men were.  Werner was then struck by a vehicle at North Cedar and West Carlisle around 4:00 a.m.  >>

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police Collision Investigators are still seeking any information about the hit and run collision death which occurred early Sunday morning and have released a picture of a vehicle of interest in the case. Police have yet to arrest the driver of the vehicle that struck and killed Suzette Werner.>>
SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police say a witness is now describing the suspect in the dragging death of a Spokane woman more than two months ago.

Police detectives with the Major Crimes unit say a witness describes the driver that killed 42-year-old Suzette Werner as a white male, 6' 2" and approximately 250 pounds.

An original description released from police said described the suspect as a tall, heavyset man wearing a light colored mid-length jacket.

Anyone with information about the driver is asked to call 911.

Werner was killed the night of February 7 and dragged for more than a mile by a dark colored SUV.

A witness saw the driver get out of the SUV and examine his vehicle for damage before driving away, according to Spokane Police.

Police continue to search for the driver of that SUV and another car which arrived at the scene shortly after the man walked around his vehicle.

Detectives say they will continue to investigate the case as long as they are generating new leads.

The skater fell and was hurt, but additional details about the extent of the injuries were not available. “The City of Spokane is deeply saddened by this horrible tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with their family, and we send our deepest condolences,” said Mayor David Condon in a release Saturday.
