SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police say a witness is now describing the suspect in the dragging death of a Spokane woman more than two months ago.

Police detectives with the Major Crimes unit say a witness describes the driver that killed 42-year-old Suzette Werner as a white male, 6' 2" and approximately 250 pounds.

An original description released from police said described the suspect as a tall, heavyset man wearing a light colored mid-length jacket.

Anyone with information about the driver is asked to call 911.

Werner was killed the night of February 7 and dragged for more than a mile by a dark colored SUV.

A witness saw the driver get out of the SUV and examine his vehicle for damage before driving away, according to Spokane Police.

Police continue to search for the driver of that SUV and another car which arrived at the scene shortly after the man walked around his vehicle.

Detectives say they will continue to investigate the case as long as they are generating new leads.
