SPOKANE, Wash. - The man accused of gunning down another man after a dispute at a Coeur d'Alene bar early Saturday will remain in Kootenai County Jail with no bond, a judge ruled today.

Juan C. Aldana Villanueva, 22, wore a sleeveless, dark colored jail jumper when he appeared before Judge Jim Stone in Kootenai County District Court at 1 p.m. today via video feed from the jail.

Prosecutor Marty Raap had asked for a $1 million bond and told the court Villanueva had appeared to be making plans to return to Honduras, where he was born, before police arrested him Saturday in the bathroom of the Post Falls restaurant Rancho Viejo, where he works.
