SPOKANE, Wash. - A four-year-old boy from Athol, Idaho is recovering at Sacred Heart Medical center after he was run over by a rototiller last week.

Steve Barnhart and his son Tytus were picking up rocks in a field when the accident happened.

Barnhart, who is a registered nurse, immediately started giving medical aid to his son, who suffered two skull fractures, a broken elbow and a broken collarbone.

Barnhart said it is a miracle that Tytus is expected to make a full recovery. "God just totally protected him. We can't look at it any other way. It's miraculous that he's healing up really well."

Barnhart described his four-year-old as outgoing, funny, helpful and kind.  He said he wanted to thank family, friends, and the community for their prayers and support.

Barnhart said Tytus will likely be moved out of the intensive care unit Monday night and is expected to be able to go home sometime this week.
