Fatal Crash at Trent and Harvard

SPOKANE COUNTY Wash. - Washington State Patrol troopers are reporting that one person is dead following a vehicle rollover at Trent and Harvard.

WSP, says it happened just before eight o clock Sunday night, when 56-year-old Billie Johnson of Otis Orchards, heading westbound on Trent, drove her vehicle off the road, hit a ditch, and rolled at least once.

After a brief rescue attempt, Billie Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family has been notified. Traffic in the area was affected for a short time, but that roadway has since been cleared.

WSP is investigating the crash to determine what caused Johnson to go off the roadway. Right now it is not known whether drugs or alcohol played a role in this crash.
