Explicit photos found on student's laptop

Posted: Updated:

SPOKANE, Wash. - According to court documents, police have seized a local high school student's laptop, desktop, cell phone and PlayStation as evidence after the teen was found in possession of sexually explicit photos of young teenage girls.

The boyfriend of the student's mother initially contacted police wanting to turn in the student's laptop because it contained what he believed to be child pornography.

He told police he found more than two dozen pictures of young teenage girls, between the ages of 12 and 15, engaged in sexual activities. He also told police he was concerned those girls we acquainted with the 15-year-old boy and that some of them were listed as friends on his MySpace page.

No charges have been filed yet against the teen, however possession of pictures of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct is a Class 'C' felony.

The boy was expelled from school last month for an unrelated incident.

PULLMAN, Wash. - Six-year-old Denny Curran should be enjoying his last few days of summer before first grade. He should be teasing his brother, splashing in the pool, giving his parents a hard time about vegetables. Instead, Denny is dead, the victim of a horrific, freak bicycle accident that could happen to your child too. "Denny was an extraordinary child," his father Keith Curran told KHQ.

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police say they saw a dramatic increase in drug related calls on Tuesday. Police say at least one person has died and officers responded to almost 20 other calls of people acting erratically. Police are looking into whether there is a drug on the street that is "creating adverse health effects." Reported behavior is consistent with a stimulant, causing people to hallucinate and act in an unpredictable and sometimes violent manner.
