Police seeking info on reckless motorcyclist

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are asking for any information you may have about a reckless motorcyclist.

Police say that on at least two occasions, officers have attempted to catch this motorcyclist, but cut their pursuits short because the risk was too great. Numerous Spokane residents have also reported the suspect driving recklessly in several north Spokane neighborhoods.

The suspect is described as a larger build white male, who normally wears either a blue and white multi-patterned helmet or a black and white multi-patterned helmet. The motorcycle is described as a lime green Kawasaki factory color, VX12 Ninja, with two round taillights and a shortened muffler that makes the bike very loud. It does not have a license plate.

Police say as the weather gets warmer and school lets out, more and more people will be on foot in the neighborhoods where the suspect has been seen and the potential for him to cause severe injuries or death due to his actions will increase.

Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 327-5111. If you see this person in your neighborhood, please call 911.

PULLMAN, Wash. - Six-year-old Denny Curran should be enjoying his last few days of summer before first grade. He should be teasing his brother, splashing in the pool, giving his parents a hard time about vegetables. Instead, Denny is dead, the victim of a horrific, freak bicycle accident that could happen to your child too. "Denny was an extraordinary child," his father Keith Curran told KHQ.
