    SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - A 19-year-old woman from Spokane Valley was killed just before 9:30pm Wednesday night while standing in the median of Interstate 90 near the stateline following a crash involving several vehicles and a moose. The Washington State Patrol says that Alexandra E. Phillips was driving eastbound on I-90 when she crashed into a moose standing in the middle of the highway. >>

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - Emergency crews have cleared the scene of another motor vehicle collision involving a moose on westbound I-90 near the stateline.

WSP dispatch said a female driver struck a moose just west of the stateline Saturday afternoon.  The driver was uninjured and was able to drive away from the scene.  The Department of Fish and Wildlife had to put the moose down due to the injures it sustained from the collision.

The collision occurred in the same area where a 19-year-old woman from Spokane Valley was killed just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday May 13th while standing in the median of Interstate 90 near the stateline following a crash involving several vehicles and a moose.
