Home invasion victim was 'pistol whipped'

Posted: Updated:

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are searching for a suspect from a Wednesday morning home invasion in North Spokane.

Around 10 a.m., 30-year-old Bradley Hickey and unknown man parked a stolen red Acura in the 3100 block of North Cedar.

Hickey and his partner knocked on the back door of the victim's house and when the victim answered, they forced their way inside and proceeded to "pistol whip" him.

Once inside, Hickey and the second suspect stole various items including the victim's car keys.  Hickey and the male suspect left the home, one in the victim's pickup truck and the other in the stolen Acura. They both drove separately to a third location. Once they arrived there, the stolen property was transferred to a third vehicle and the stolen cars were left at that location.

The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries. This was not a random attack, but the relationship between the victim and the suspects are still unknown and under investigation.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Hickey is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (509) 327-5111 or (800) 222-TIPS.
