Spokane Valley credit union robbed

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Spokane Valley police are looking for a white female who held up the Progressions Credit Union at 1507 N. Pines Road about 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

The woman entered the credit union, displayed a black pistol and demanded cash.  She ran from the bank and was last seen entering the Willowbrook Apartments complex at 12202 E. Maxwell.

No one was injured in Thursday's heist.

The suspect was described as a white female, 25 to 30 years old, wearing heavy makeup.  She was average height and weight, and had either long blond curly hair or a blond curly wig.  She wore a blue bandana over her hair.

Witnesses said the woman also wore a gray sweat shirt over navy blue sweat pants, white running shoes and garden-type gloves.  She also wore sunglasses.

A man working at the Willowbrook pool said the woman ran southbound through the complex, but officers had not located her by 4:45 p.m.

Anyone with information regarding Thursday's robbery or the suspect involved is urged to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
