Flags lowered to honor Washington soldier

OLYMPIA, Wash. - Governor Chris Gregoire directed today that flags at all Washington state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff Wednesday, July 1, in memory of U.S. Army 1st Lt. Brian N. Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business on Wednesday, or first thing Thursday morning.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
