    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are searching for a man after an armed robbery at the Walgreens in the 2100 block of E. Wellesley in North Spokane. Police say the suspect walked through the front doors, went straight to the back counter where he displayed a handgun and demanded the painkiller Oxycontin. Police say the man was able to get away with an unknown amount of the drug. Police say this robbery was bold in that there were a lot of customers in the store at the time. >>

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane police are investigating a robbery at the Walgreens Pharmacy located at 29th Ave. and Grand Blvd. on Spokane's south hill.  Police say a male suspect robbed the pharmacy of Oxycontin shortly after 3:00 Sunday afternoon. According to Walgreens employees the suspect entered the store and walked to the pharmacy were he handed an employee a note demanding all of the stores Oxycontin and stating he had a gun. >>

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are investigating a robbery at the Lincoln Heights Rite-Aid located at 29th and Regal.

Police responded to the scene just before 10:30 a.m. Monday. The suspect gave an employee a note that said he had a gun and demanded drugs. A weapon was never seen.

The suspect is described as white male, 20-years-old and was wearing a dark shirt over a light gray hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses and blue jeans.

The suspect was able to get away with an unknown amount of the painkiller Oxycontin. Oxycontin has been the target of several recent pharmacy robberies.

The suspect may have left the scene in a four wheel drive standard cab 1970s dark blue Toyota pick-up with flames on the front.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - A Spokane woman who was run over by a cyclist last month on the Centennial Trail has filed a lawsuit against the man she says didn’t even try to avoid smashing into her. On Sept. 22, 67-year-old Virginia Pearsall was walking near Kendall Yards with her sister when she heard someone behind her yell, “Hot pizza!” "I felt like I got hit by a truck," said Pearsall. "The impact was so great, it was unbelievable."

    TACOMA, Wash. - Washington State Patrol believes faulty brakes and speed contributed to a semi truck crash on the SR 16 interchange with northbound I-5 in Tacoma Tuesday evening.  Troopers say the truck was headed eastbound on SR 16 when it rolled on the rap to northbound I-5.  Trooper Brooke Bova tweeted photos form the scene, including one which showed the truck's brake lines tied together with a plastic grocery bag.  The
