    SPOKANE, Wash. - Right now, Spokane Police are responding to the Rite Aid at 29th and Regal on the report of a robbery. >>
    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are investigating a robbery at the Lincoln Heights Rite-Aid located at 29th and Regal. Police responded to the scene just after 10:30 a.m. Monday. The suspect had a note that said he had a gun, but a weapon was never seen. The suspect is described as white male and was said to be wearing a black hoodie. The suspect was able to get away with an unknown amount of the painkiller Oxycontin. Oxycontin has been the target of several recent pharmacy robberies. >>

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are searching for a man after an armed robbery at the Walgreens in the 2100 block of E. Wellesley in North Spokane. Police say the suspect walked through the front doors, went straight to the back counter where he displayed a handgun and demanded the painkiller Oxycontin. Police say the man was able to get away with an unknown amount of the drug. Police say this robbery was bold in that there were a lot of customers in the store at the time. >>

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane police are investigating a robbery at the Walgreens Pharmacy located at 29th Ave. and Grand Blvd. on Spokane's south hill.  Police say a male suspect robbed the pharmacy of Oxycontin shortly after 3:00 Sunday afternoon. According to Walgreens employees the suspect entered the store and walked to the pharmacy were he handed an employee a note demanding all of the stores Oxycontin and stating he had a gun. >>

SPOKANE, Wash. - Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a Monday morning robbery at the Lincoln Heights Rite-Aid.

Police say 24-year-old Tom Snell entered the Rite-Aid after 10 a.m. gave an employee a note that said he had a gun and demanded the painkiller Oxycontin.

Oxycontin has been the target of several recent pharmacy robberies.

Snell was able to get away with an unknown amount of the drug. He fled the scene in a dark blue Toyota pickup with flames on it.

A gun was never seen during the robbery.

(AP) - A 20-year-old man who was intentionally run over at a Grays Harbor County campground has died of his injuries.      KOMO-TV reports that Jimmy Smith-Kramer of Taholah was one of two victims run over by a pickup truck Saturday.      Tacoma General Hospital officials confirmed he had died late Sunday.

The 2005 Chevy Trailblazer was headed north on 395 at a high rate of speed when the driver 18-year-old Jaciel Parra of Victor, Idaho, fell asleep at the wheel.
