Police searching for beer, cigarette burglars

SPOKANE, Wash. - Police are searching for two men caught on surveillance breaking into a Spokane Valley Tesoro in the 14700 block of E. Sprague and stealing beer and cigarettes.

Police responded after the station's alarm sounded just after 12:30 a.m. Friday and found a glass door smashed and blood on the broken glass and floor. Several packages of Marlboro cigarettes were scattered on the sidewalk.

An employee arrived watched the security video which shows two white males in their early 20s walking up to the door. One uses a rock to smash the glass and he enters the store first. He grabs two cases of beer while the second suspect scoops up cigarettes.

The first suspect is described as being about 6'0" and 160 pounds with short brown hair. He was wearing a green shirt with white stars and dark-colored shorts.

The second suspect is described as being about 5'08" tall and 160 pounds. He has black hair and a goatee. He was wearing green plaid shorts, black shoes and a gray baseball cap.

If you have any information regarding this burglary or the suspects involved, you are asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.

That sounds about right for the area, right? Well this house is a bit of a fixer upper. The kind with lots of potential if you invest the time and money.  Currently, however, it is shown on the real estate site Redfin in less than perfect condition.
