Big Offensive Night Helps Indians to Win

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Indians bounced back from a big loss last night, to get a huge win tonight against Everett at Avista Stadium.

Starting pitcher Rob Ross went five strong innings, giving up just two hits, no runs and striking out seven in the effort, and the Indians took it from there.

The Tribe picked up two runs in the second, three in the third and another two in the fifth thanks to RBI's from Aja Barto, Miguel Velasquez and Javier Mendonca.

The Aquasox got on the board in the seventh inning with two runs, but it wasn't enough for Everett as the Indians go on to get the win by a final or 8-2.

Everett and Spokane wrap up their five-game set tomorrow night at 6:30 pm at Avista Stadium.
