Father-daughter holdup trial in Ellensburg

ELLENSBURG, Wash. - The Ellensburg trial of the man accused of robbing a gas station convenience store with his 9-year-old daughter at his side is expected to take about three days.

The Ellensburg Daily Record reports the robbery trial starts Tuesday for 42-year-old Robert Daniel Webb of Everett.

Video of the March 31 holdup showed the robber telling the clerk he needed the money for his daughter. He got away with about $200.

The Ellensburg Daily Record reports 42-year-old Robert Daniel Webb of Everett is charged with robbery and criminal trespass in Kittitas County Superior Court.

The manner of death has been ruled an accident.
