SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police have a man suspected of drunk driving in custody after they say he hit at least fours cars and a fence.

Police say there are at least four different scenes where the man collided with another car and say that number may increase as people arrive home and call police to report damage.

At one point the man went through a fence and struck a pickup truck which halted his drive for a moment before he was able to back his car up and continue down the road.

The man was finally stopped near Oak and Joseph in Northwest Spokane after a witness was able to get the driver's keys following one of the collisions.

The witness says when the man crashed he attempted to keep going, but his vehicle was broken down and the tires were just spinning. The witness and another man ran up to the vehicle, broke out a window and reached inside to get the driver's keys.

Police say the suspected drunk driver was injured in the collisions.
