SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane police are asking for your help in locating the suspect in yet another pharmacy robbery.

Police believe the man who robbed the Rite-Aid pharmacy in the 4500 block of S. Regal Saturday evening may be the same person responsible for an August 24 robbery at a South Hill ShopKo pharmacy.

On Saturday around 5:40 p.m. the man walked into the Rite-Aid and handed the pharmacist a note demanding prescription drugs. He was able to get away with an unknown amount of

Following numerous Walgreens robberies in which the popular painkiller Oxycontin was targeted, the pharmacy has installed time-lock security cabinets in all of its pharmacies across Washington State.

Police say the robbery at the ShopKo in the 4500 block of S. Regal in August occurred the same way with the suspect handing the pharmacist a note before leaving the scene with an unknown amount of prescription drugs.

The suspect is described as a white male in his twenties with dark, short facial hair and long black hair that could be a wig. He has a heavy build and is approximately 6' tall.

In the Rite-Aid robbery, he was wearing brown sunglasses, a white T-shirt, blue jeans, a white knit cap and blue sneakers.

In the ShopKo robbery, the suspect was wearing sunglasses, a black T-shirt, blue jeans, a black baseball cap with a white logo on the front and white sneakers.

Crime Stoppers has offered a $2,000 reward for information that leads to the suspect's arrest.
