EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett City Council voted to extend its lewd conduct law to cover places with drive-up windows, such as espresso stands. A number of people at the Wednesday night council meeting were upset the ordinance does not address attire. The owner of a business near the Grab-N-Go espresso stand, where five baristas have been charged with prostitution, showed a video of women dancing around in underwear.>>

EVERERTT, Wash. - Five baristas at the Grab-n-Go Espresso, an Everett, Washington coffee stand where baristas wear bikinis, have been charged with prostitution. When officers began their investigation back in July, they said they got an eyeful. In one instance, detectives say they saw the women spray and lick whipped cream off each other. In another instance, an undercover cop paid $20 and two baristas allegedly bared their breasts and pulled down their undergarments. >>

CLEARVIEW, Wash. - Many people in Snohomish County have seen enough of bikini baristas.

About 100 people gathered at the Foursquare Church in Clearview Tuesday night for a town meeting to share stories about seeing near-nudity and sexual behavior.

County Councilman Mike Cooper attended the meeting and said he plans to introduce legislation to have bikini coffee stands reclassified as adult entertainment.

Complaints about the Grab-N-Go espresso stand in Everett led to prostitution charges last month against five women.

The Everett City Council has voted to extend its lewd conduct law to cover places with drive-up windows.
