PORTLAND, Ore. - Facebook temporarily took down a fan page for a Washington state teen fugitive, and the social networking site did not explain its reasoning.

The Portland Oregonian reports the fan page for Colton Harris-Moore, who is suspected in about 50 burglary cases in Washington state and British Columbia since he slipped away from a halfway house in April 2008, was taken down Friday morning without explanation.

The page was restored hours later. A Facebook spokeswoman declined to comment.
