Impressions in the home's carpet tipped off investigators to a love seat that had been recently removed from the home in the 600 block of Vicksburg Ct.  Although they don't yet know the significance of the missing piece of furniture, the fact that it has disappeared piqued their interest.

A witness familiar with the home told investigators that the love seat matches a couch still inside the house.

Detectives said Wednesday that Valdovino's death was the result of a gunshot wound to his head. His body was found wrapped in a pair of blankets along the shoulder of Day-Mt. Spokane Road.

The love seat may have been dumped along a roadway or alley somewhere in North Spokane, or left in a vacant lot or trash pile.

Anyone with information regarding the love seat's location is urged to call Crime Check immediately 456-2233.
