SPOKANE, Wash. - It's been an incredibly difficult couple of months for Kaley Hilderbrand and her family. "We're in the middle of moving from an apartment to a house," Hilderbrand said.  It's not something the mom of a brand new baby girl though she would be doing. Back in April, the soon-to-be-married mother of three was living in a north Spokane apartment complex when she received an angry letter about doing laundry at night.

Last Spokane survivor of Pearl Harbor recalls infamous day 75 years later

    Thursday, December 7 2017 11:00 PM EST2017-12-08 04:00:06 GMT

SPOKANE, Wash. - At one time there were 125 members of the Lilac City Chapter of Pearl Harbor survivors. Sadly, that number is now down to one. Ray Garland is the sole survivor from the Japanese attack in Hawaii. Now 94 years old, he has vivid memories of that day 75 years ago as a member of the Marines.

SPOKANE, Wash. - KHQ's Stephanie Vigil got to see something very few people do, but is so vital to our region. Fairchild Air Force Base gave her an exclusive behind the scenes look of a historic KC-135 tanker on a mission to refuel jets. With only 40 feet between the tanker and fighter jet, Steph said they were close enough to wave at the pilot.

SPOKANE, Wash. - I had a feeling this trip would turn into something special when our plane arrived at Dulles International Airport in Washington D.C. We were greeted by the airport fire department using water cannons blasting a "Welcome" stream of water which formed an arch in which our plane proceeded through to the gate.
