Robbery suspect uses fake mustache and beard

Robbery suspect uses fake mustache and beard

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police are continuing to investigate a robbery at the Baskin Robbins located at 1925 North Monroe in which the suspect used a fake beard and mustache. 

Police tell us the suspect entered the store, implied he had a handgun in his pocket, asked for the location of cash and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.  The suspect then fled out the south door and westbound through the parking lot out of sight.  

Spokane Police arrived on scene within 1 minute of the 911 call and immediately set up a perimeter.  A K-9 search was conducted in an attempt to locate the suspect or evidence, but they were unable to locate the suspect or any evidence of the robbery. 

 The suspect was caught on surveillance video from inside the store and is described as a black male about 6 feet tall with a thin build.  He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants, light blue baseball cap, black gloves, and a glued on beard and moustache.
