Detectives Tuesday evening arrested 46-year-old Jeffrey Canino for First-Degree Murder for the stabbing death of his wife, 43-year-old Michelle Canino, early Tuesday. Deputies were called to the couple's home in the 4500 block of E. Woodglen about 6:30 a.m. by their son who dialed 911.>>

    SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - Spokane County Sheriff's major crimes detectives have charged a North Spokane County man with First-Degree Murder in connection with his wife's death early Wednesday. Jeffrey N. Canino, 46, is under guard at a downtown Spokane hospital where he is undergoing treatment for what detectives believe are self-inflicted stab wounds. The woman's name has not been released. The Spokesman-Review reports the home is owned by Jeffrey and Michelle Canino.>>

SPOKANE, Wash. - A man suspected of stabbing his wife to death last week was released from the hospital over the weekend and was charged with First-Degree Murder at the Spokane County Jail Monday morning.

Jeffrey Canino, 46, is believed to have stabbed his 43-year-old wife Michelle to death in the couples' Mead, Washington home early last Wednesday. Canino then turned the knife on himself and was taken to a downtown hospital in critical condition.

However, his condition rapidly improved and he was arrested Wednesday and placed under guard at the medical facility until his release Saturday.

Canino is expected to make his first court appearance Monday afternoon.

Eventually, Sierra and Josh Davies were arrested for it. Josh remains in the Spokane County Jail, facing 22 charges ranging from theft to money laundering. Sierra is facing brand new charges: prostitution.
