OLYMPIA, Wash. - The memorial for four slain Lakewood police officers is expected to pack the Tacoma Dome, drawing delegations from police forces from as far away as New York.

A three-hour procession of about 2,500 emergency vehicles, including the families' motorcade and cars from the Lakewood Police Department, will travel from McChord Air Force Base to the arena
for Tuesday's ceremony.

The memorial service comes just over a week after the officers were gunned down in a Parkland coffee shop before the start of their shift.

Killed were Sgt. Mark Renninger, 39, and Officers Ronald Owens, 37, Tina Griswold, 40, and Greg Richards, 42.

Gov. Chris Gregoire, who will speak at the service, has directed that flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff Tuesday.
