Suspect in shootings caught in Sunnyside

MATTAWA, Wash. - A suspect has been arrested in Sunnyside in connection with a triple homicide near the town of Mattawa.
     
J. Guadalupe Martinez, 24, was arrested Tuesday evening by the Sunnyside Police Department and the FBI.

Grant County Undersheriff John Turley says deputies responded to a call about gunshots at 9:15 p.m. Monday at a home about two miles outside of Mattawa.

One man was found dead at the scene. A second man died in an ambulance. Turley says the body of the third male victim was found on a nearby roadway. All three men were Latino.

Detectives are looking into the possibility of drug or gang connections.
